- Liquid Hold-Up better than Packed Column
- Easily to clean up
- Can be used with the liquid which contain any solid particle
- The side-stream can be took
Packed Column
- Channeling and Back-mixing can be happened
- Less of pressure-drop so its suitable with vacuum operation
- Its cheaper for corosive fluid
- Can be built with small diameter
- Solid particle can stuck the flow-stream
- Suitable with foaming liquid
- The tool is not really heavy than Plate/Tray Column
